I just had an amazing 4 days in CT with 2 of my best friends!!! Unlike Shelb, I had a pretty uneventful flight. Which I'm okay with. We ate, laughed, got pedicures, laughed, enjoyed the heat, went to the movie, jumped in the bouncer and laughed until we wet our pants, saw NY city, shopped, ate, oh ya, did I mention laugh?
I tried to post yesterday, but I was to emotional. It was pretty hard to leave Ash, but comforting to know that she is okay and that she wanted me to stay a bit longer. That's always a good sign right?
Thanks to all of you who helped pick up the slack that I left at home. Thanks Larry and Amber for helping with the kids. Jan for picking up the Trek kids. Mostly to Val for letting me go and telling me to have a great time.

Wow! It sounds like you guys had such a good time! I am looking forward to the days when I can spend time like that with my girls. However, they are approaching faster than I would like them to at this point. I am glad you were able to have a FUN vacation!
I am so glad you had such a great time! I am glad you had the time to just be together. Hearing your post and Ashton's post makes me think a little about how important this trip might be for Mom and Dad Bradley then I had previously thought. I can see why they want us there and to just be together. It makes me want to hold on to my kids a little tighter and try harder to remember these days will be gone before I know it. Just like we were talking about at Jan's. No problem on helping out with the kids. I wish we could have done more to make it so that Val could have slept so more! It was fun to have them around. I will have to tell you a little later about a few good laughs we had a few conversations... Kids are funny! Your kids are great and we love having them around! I am glad you had a wonderful trip!

I had no idea you were heading for Connecticut. I'm glad we have these little sites so we know what's going on in each other's lives. I'm so glad you got to go and have fun with your girls. Nothing's more important than memories like those!
Sounds like you had a GREAT time! Most importantly, I'm glad you found time to laugh! That's an experience you'll all remember for the rest of your lives. Sorry to hear Shelby had a rough flight out but at least she made it safely. We look forward to hearing about your adventures some day.
You are awsome! I want to have the kind of relationship you have with your kids with mine. It's nice to get away sometimes. As for my part, I'm just glad I found the boys...Haha. We had a good laugh after.
